How to start Stockpiling
Many people have asked me how to start stockpiling. When stockpiling you do not go out and start buying items. You look for items that you use, that are on sale and match coupons. Sometimes you may not find any items to stockpile for that weeks ads and some weeks you are overwhelmed on how many items that you can stockpile with. I would start stockpiling with an amount. Some people start as low as $5.00 to start their stockpile. If I was going to stockpile today I would go to Fry's. I would start with $10.00. I would take $5.00 and purchase 10 Starkist tuna that is on sale for $0.49. I would take the other $5.00 and purchase 5 mission tortillas. Both of these items I do not see coupons for but, these items my family uses all the time. This is a great price that I can save at least half or more then half off of the regular price even without coupons. The tuna the kids have for lunch, school lunch, after school sporting events at night and the tortillas, tacos, cheese crisp, cheese crisp with pepperonis (yuck! but they like it lol) or a small amount of butter on the tortillas with a sprinkle of Cinnamon sugar. So really think about your stockpile and how it will work for your family.
